We Recommend Washing Your Alternative Hair Every 6-8 Wears
CLEANSE & CONDITION
- Before washing your wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
- Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
- Do not submerge or soak your wig or topper
- Gently lather the hair with a small amount of shampoo specifically formulated for synthetic hair, making sure the hair is traveling in the same direction
- DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling
- Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until water runs clear
- Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry
- Spray fibers with a conditioning spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base of wig or hairpiece
- Please follow instructions for use depending on products used
- Gently detangle hair using your Wide Tooth Comb
DRY & STYLE
- Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand
- DO NOT blow dry synthetic hair
- For mid-length to long length styles, apply a detangling spray, (3-5 pumps) focusing on bottom half of wig or hairpiece.
- Gently comb through using your Wide Tooth Comb
- We recommend using your fingertips or wig comb for your desired style
- Consider additional products to add texture and definition, using a small amount and applying using your fingertips
- Do NOT use heat to style synthetic fiber (curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers)
TIPS
- Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e., open oven, heater, etc.)
- Excessive heat can damage the fiber
- We recommend using a detangling spray with a wide tooth comb to detangle your piece after each wear

"This is one of my favorites. I bought it in the Platinum Shadow. It has lots of volume and is a beautiful ash blonde with just enough of the new grey tone. The roots are dark but it looks very natural. I can wear this wig in so many ways as it looks great by itself, under hats, with clips or a headbands. I have a 21. 5 circumference and it’s a perfect fit. It looked great out of the box and styles so easily with a spritz of water and a bit of wig wax. You cannot go wrong with this lovely wig!"

"I bought this wig in the color sterling shadow. The fiber is sturdy but nice and soft. Comfortable I was easily able to wear it on my 21. 75 circumference head. I have a narrow face. 7 inces long. with a pointed chin. The volume of hair on this wig is very flattering and the lift on top. easily attained with a little TressTech Wig Wax. makes it glamorous. I am 63, and the style draws my features up, a definite plus. The color is a gorgeous chrome gray with a lot of dimension oweing to the darker root. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this wig."

"I’m a first time wig wearer and really pleased with how natural this looks. I purchased this in Sparkling Champagne, which is what the model is wearing, and love the color. The dark roots and colored hair are close to how my own dyed hair normally appears. This wig is lovely right out of the box with simple finger styling. Everything about it completely met my expectations and I highly recommend this one as the price was fabulous and affordable. I’d like to also mention that I had a great customer service experience with Wig Studio 1 as well."
