How Package Protection Works With Wig Orders
Once selected at checkout, coverage activates immediately. If a covered issue occurs, the protection provider handles the claim through a replacement, store credit, or refund. This structure supports timely and fair resolutions without extended processing delays.
Coverage applies to items purchased through our store, including selections from our wig collection and our full range of hair toppers and hair pieces.

Do I have to purchase Package Protection every single time I order?
Yes, coverage must be added to each order if you would like protection on that shipment.
What happens if I accidentally purchase Package Protection?
If coverage is added by mistake and you would like a refund, please contact customer service within 24 hours of purchase. As long as the order has not been fulfilled, the coverage amount can be removed and refunded.
What happens if I don’t purchase Package Protection?
If you don’t purchase Package Protection, your packages may not be protected from damage, loss, or theft.
Why do I need shipping protection?
As more purchases are made online, more packages are getting lost in transit and stolen from doorsteps. The costs can be devastating for consumers and retailers.
Can I purchase Package Protection Coverage after I have placed my order?
Please reach out to support@wigstudio1.com. We can add coverage as long as it is added and payment is complete before your order is fulfilled.
Package Protection providers will cover your order, replacing or refunding it if it is damaged, lost, or stolen.
Wig Studio 1 is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages.
How do I file a claim?

Package Protection Policy
Our package protection includes the following resolution options:
• Replacement: A new item in the exact same style and color.
• Store Credit: Issued to your store account, which can be used at checkout toward your next order.
• Refund: Returned to your original form of payment. If store credit was used for the purchase, the refund will be issued as store credit.

Damaged Items
An order is considered damaged when a wig or topper arrives with harm to the cap construction, fibers, or packaging, or when the item cannot be used due to shipping related damage. This policy does not apply to manufacturing defects.
Claim Timeframe for Damaged Items:
Within 30 days from the date the package was marked as “delivered.”
Lost Packages:
An order is considered lost when:
• It has never been reported as “delivered” and has had no tracking updates for 7+ days.
• It has been 48 hours past the estimated delivery date provided by the shipping carrier with no tracking updates for 7+ days.
Claim Timeframe for Lost Packages:
• Between 7 and 30 days from the last tracking update.
• Note: A 7-day waiting period is required before filing a claim, as packages may be delayed but still in transit.
Stolen Packages:
An order is considered stolen when it is marked “delivered” but was not received by the customer.
Claim Timeframe for Stolen Packages:
• Between 7 and 30 days from the date the package was marked “delivered.”
• Note: A 7-day waiting period is required before filing a claim, as packages may be prematurely marked as “delivered” but still arrive.
