Raquel Welch wigs are available in different cap sizes, such as average cap, petite cap and large cap sizes. Most Raquel Welch wigs are average in cap size and they run true to average in general, whereas other brands, such as Belle Tress or Estetica tend to be a little more roomier in cap size.

We don't recommend showering with your wig on for a few reasons.

When washing your wig, it is important to ensure that you also wash the inside of the cap to remove dirt, oil and any build up on the interior of the cap. Keeping your wig clean underneath will help your wig last longer and keep your scalp healthy.

When washing your wig, you want to ensure the fibers run in the same direction of the flow of water, and you don't want to rub the fibers, as this will cause tangling. We recommend washing your wig in a sink, rinsing thoroughly and patting dry with a towel. Then place your wig or hair topper on a wig stand for drying overnight.
