HERE IS AN EXAMPLE:
Practicing using a color such as FS26/31S6, also known as Salted Caramel, you can see how the color code is broken down in the image below.
The letters FS (Fashion Syrup) reflects that this color blend (colors 26 and 31) will have bold highlights, and when referring to the color family chart above, you can see that color 26 is in the blonde family of colors and that color 31 is in the red color family.
The last part of the color code is S6. The "S" means that the color blend is shaded at the root with an additional color. In this case, the shaded color is 6, which is part of the brown color family.
