Synthetic Hair Care
We Recommend Washing Your Alternative Hair Every 6-8 Wears
CLEANSE & CONDITION
- Before washing your wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
- Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
- Do not submerge or soak your wig or topper
- Gently lather the hair with a small amount of shampoo specifically formulated for synthetic hair, making sure the hair is traveling in the same direction
- DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling
- Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until water runs clear
- Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry
- Spray fibers with a conditioning spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base of wig or hairpiece
- Please follow instructions for use depending on products used
- Gently detangle hair using your Wide Tooth Comb
DRY & STYLE
- Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand
- DO NOT blow dry synthetic hair
- For mid-length to long length styles, apply a detangling spray, (3-5 pumps) focusing on bottom half of wig or hairpiece.
- Gently comb through using your Wide Tooth Comb
- We recommend using your fingertips or wig comb for your desired style
- Consider additional products to add texture and definition, using a small amount and applying using your fingertips
- Do NOT use heat to style synthetic fiber (curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers)
TIPS
- Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e., open oven, heater, etc.)
- Excessive heat can damage the fiber
- We recommend using a detangling spray with a wide tooth comb to detangle your piece after each wear

"5/5 I love this topper! I wear it nearly everyday; it is very versatile. Of course it took me some time to get used to this topper, like with any “helper hair. ” This last purchase was my 4th time buying this specific topper. I have tried a couple different colors. Now, I am able to wear it up in a ponytail, in a bun, halfway up or just down. I have even worn it in a French Braid. I have tried other toppers, but this is one of my favorites. Here are several pictures of the topper in different settings."

Didn't work for me
"I thought I would give this topper a try, but it looked very ""wiggy"" to me, so I sent it back. I didn't try to manipulate it AT ALL, though, because I wanted to make sure it would qualify for a return, so it may be that if I had messed with it enough, it would have worked. I really appreciate being able to return the wig, even with a restocking fee. I'm more willing to take a chance than I would be if I knew I was locked into keeping the one I ordered with the only other option being an exchange. Thank you."
My First Topper and I Love it!
"I purchased the Mono Wiglet 513 a few months ago. There wasn't a shorter version of this particular wiglet but I took a chance and ordered it anyway, and I am so happy I did. My hairdresser cut it to my own hair length and it is beautiful. I did use a steamer to take out a little of the curl before she cut it, which was very easy to do. It looks so natural that if I didn't tell anyone, they think it's my hair. I am wearing it a lot this summer, and like it so much that I have ordered a 'twin'. I have read from other wig wearers that it is a good idea to have a backup. I am getting terrific service from Wig Studio 1."
