Synthetic Hair Care

We Recommend Washing Your Alternative Hair Every 6-8 Wears

CLEANSE & CONDITION

  • Before washing your wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
  • Do not submerge or soak your wig or topper
  • Gently lather the hair with a small amount of shampoo specifically formulated for synthetic hair, making sure the hair is traveling in the same direction
  • DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling
  • Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until water runs clear
  • Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry
  • Spray fibers with a conditioning spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base of wig or hairpiece
  • Please follow instructions for use depending on products used
  • Gently detangle hair using your Wide Tooth Comb

DRY & STYLE

  • Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand
  • DO NOT blow dry synthetic hair
  • For mid-length to long length styles, apply a detangling spray, (3-5 pumps) focusing on bottom half of wig or hairpiece.
  • Gently comb through using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • We recommend using your fingertips or wig comb for your desired style
  • Consider additional products to add texture and definition, using a small amount and applying using your fingertips
  • Do NOT use heat to style synthetic fiber (curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers)

TIPS

  • Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e., open oven, heater, etc.)
  • Excessive heat can damage the fiber
  • We recommend using a detangling spray with a wide tooth comb to detangle your piece after each wear

"I purchased the Hollywood by Mane Attraction as I LOVE my Harper by Henry Margu! It is in the color Nutmeg. I typically wear blends of auburns,stawberry,blonde highlights. This color is VERY light and mostly blond with a little red/brown mixed in. Very little. Quite a wig for the price! It is only 4 oz but is layered and long in the back. Very flattering with a modest amount of permatese. Great fit for the price. Would love to get this in the 8/27/26GR. Will consider purchasing again if better color for me."

Pretty wig but unfortunately it

"Pretty wig but unfortunately it sheds a lot. Everywhere. I don't particularly care for the color, but it's not that bad either. I'm new to the Mane Attraction line so I am not familiar with their colors or sizing. I have worn one or two Henry Margu wigs before and I liked them except for cap. The cap on this unit has a lovely lace front and looks very very natural. The fibers were very soft and very believable. The other thing I didn't anticipate was the amount of Perma tease. Tons and tons of pillowy perma tease. I don't mind a little if it helps to enhance fullness or style, in fact I like it for those reasons, but a football helmet is a bit over the top. About the cap. . . it feels very large on me and I have the straps synched in all the way and it's still moves quite a bit even with a wig cap and wig grip on. It was very windy today so I put a headband on to help anchor it down and that seemed to work. For the price point, it's a nice starter wig. Would I repurchase it again? Probably not. I'll keep it moving."

MAGNIFICENT LACE FRONT

"The Mane Attraction lace front is impeccable. It's almost invisible when I look at it in my 15x mirror. I think It's better than RW's and JR's, and I have many of their wigs. The Champagne color is dimensional, although maybe a bit too cool for my coloring, but I love it anyway. I get so many compliments. I have to lift the front up to show my friends it's really a wig."

"You can’t beat the price, but beware that the lace is rather loose around the face compared to all my other wigs. It’s the only one I had to glue down so no one would notice. Otherwise, the champagne is lovely and looks good up in clips too."
