BelleTress heat-friendly synthetic fiber allows you to curl, straighten, and restyle within safe temperature limits. Follow these guidelines to protect your wig and keep it looking beautiful.
1. Recommended Heat Range
250°F–300°F (121°C–149°C) is the ideal safe range.
Do NOT exceed 300°F (149°C) — higher heat may permanently damage the fiber.
2. Before Styling
Make sure the wig is 100% dry. Never apply heat to damp fiber.
Gently detangle using a wide-tooth comb.
Place the wig or topper on a collapsible wig stand or styling head (avoid stretching).
Apply a heat-protectant spray specifically formulated for synthetic hair to the fibers.
3. Curling Belle Tress Wigs
Set your curling iron/wand to 250–300°F.
Work in small sections.
Wrap hair gently around the barrel—avoid tight pulling.
Hold for 5–8 seconds, then release.
Allow curls to cool completely in place to “set” the new style.
Pro Tip: Pin curls while cooling for longer-lasting shape.
4. Straightening Belle Tress Wigs
Use a flat iron set between 250–300°F.
Glide smoothly from roots to ends—avoid clamping tightly.
Make one slow pass at a time.
Let the hair cool naturally before touching or brushing.
5. Adding Volume
Use a round brush + low heat (below 300°F).
Focus on the mid-lengths for soft lift.
Tease gently at the root if more volume is desired—Belle Tress fibers respond well to light teasing.
6. After Styling
Once cooled, lightly comb or finger-style to blend.
Lock in shape with Belle Tress Salon Hold Holding Spray if desired.
Avoid heavy or oily products—they can weigh down synthetic fibers.
7. Important Heat-Friendly Synthetic Fiber Notes
Do not use steamers or boiling water methods.
Keep wigs away from open ovens, grills, and high-heat environments.
Store the wig on a collapsible wig stand to maintain cap shape.
Heat-friendly fiber doesn’t “bounce back”—once restyled, the new shape remains until heat is applied again.

BelleTress caps are big on me, but I’m a petite headed person. I wear grips with my BT wigs. Mine is Roca Margarita Blonde, and I absolutely love this color."
"I've owned BT Caliente in Vanilla Lush previously and I loved it. This one I just returned was very ill fitting. The lace front was so tight that it hurt. The ear tabs came no where near they were supposed to. The nape of the cap was roomy. I released the tabs as far as they would go to try to loosen the front of the cap but it didn't help. I even took it to my wig stylist to get a second opinion and she confirmed everything as well. Why did I not give it 1 star? They hair was great quality and great color just like it always has been. I will order another one on the hopes that this was just a fluke."
"I had higher hopes for Caliente, especially after watching numerous YT videos for reviews and color choices. While I love the color (new for me) British Milk Tea (prefer Roca Margarita Blonde, though), the unit I received is itchy all over; the lace is itchy as well. I noticed there were fibers about 2"" long sticking up along the part. Very odd, as never received a wig with that issue in the past 20 years. However, I always wash my wigs before wearing them in earnest and did so thinking that the these errant fibers would lay down. Not so, even with wig wax. Guess I'll either have to pull them out or use a heating tool or steam. I will wear her, for sure, but she's not one of my favorites and would not re-order this style based upon the unit I now own."
"I really expected to love this wig! I've watched all of my favourite YouTube reviewers review it many times, and had high hopes for Caliente. Sadly, I'm rather disappointed. The wig I received has a lot of straight pieces that I think throw the style off a bit; the seams show at the temples, so I have to part the hair carefully to hide them; the part is so dense that it might as well not have a monofilament; and it has very bad fly-aways, which make it look messy. I love a tossled style, but not bed-head. The colour (Butterbeer Blonde) is very pretty, though not as much platinum as I had hoped. I have been wearing it, but wouldn't wear it for something special. It could be that I just got a Caliente that wasn't the greatest, as there is often a lot of variation in wigs.
