Not for me

I ordered Calabasas in Caramel Blonde-R. The color was much more like an auburn than golden as depicted in the picture. Specifically the rooting was very auburn. If that’s what you like then you’ll be fine, but it was not good against my skin tone. And despite always hearing from reviewers that BelleTress runs on the large side of average, this cap fit me very poorly. It barely fit my 22” circumference and coverage at the ear tabs was worse than most.

Though most Belletress wigs can fit average to average large, these caps are partially put together by hand, so the fit can somewhat vary.

Nice style & color

Calabasas has a really nice style along with the very slight layering in the front. It has a nice realistic density. The color (raw sugar, rooted) DOES NOT look like the lighter blonder, color in Taz’s video review of this wig/color. It’s more like a much darker version of a shaded biscuit. I really like the color, with its various shades of medium to dark blondes & light browns. I think some scattered, more pale blondes along the front, would make this color even nicer. The lace front is well done & the fibers look really natural. I gave it 3 stars due to it is a face flopper & it tangles a lot, no matter what product I use to help prevent it.

Thank you for your review and this great information about your experience with this style! Reviewers hair can often look a bit lighter due to the bright lighting used in production. They try very hard to ensure the colors come across as true as possible, but lighting and brightness on screens can play a part in how a color will look.

Heat-friendly fibers can tangle a bit more easily, and longer styles tangle due to friction on clothing, as it rubs throughout the day.

I would suggest keeping a wide-tooth comb on hand, and detangling ends a few times throughout the day, and a bit of detangling mist as needed.
