RETURN FEES | All returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee unless an Instant Exchange is made.
EASY AND FREE EXCHANGES | Wig Studio 1 offers the option for an Instant Exchange before you even send your item back. To initiate an exchange, please use the Instant Credit Voucher provided when requesting a return of your original order. Please note that Instant Credit Vouchers are not offered on every return. If a return is requested on an order where an Instant Credit Voucher has been used, an additional voucher cannot be offered on this return. Restocking fees will apply to items that are returned where a voucher was used as a form of payment. If you use the Instant Credit Voucher toward an exchange before your order is received at our location, and the return processed, the 15% restocking fee is waived. The Instant Credit Voucher must be used as a form of payment at checkout. We are unable to apply the Instant Credit Voucher code to an order once it has been completed at checkout. If an Instant Credit Voucher is used towards an item that is on backorder, and the backorder is canceled, the funds will be returned to the Instant Credit Voucher. If the original return has processed, the funds from the Instant Credit Voucher will be returned to your original form of payment, and restocking fees will apply. If the return has not been processed, you may use the Instant Credit Voucher towards another purchase. Please reach out to our support team with any questions.
UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS | An unauthorized return is a return that is NOT requested through our return portal or via our support team. An unauthorized return is a return that is sent back to the manufacturer directly without an RMA #. All unauthorized returns will be charged a 25% restocking fee.
REFUNDS | You will receive a refund to your original form of payment once your return has been received and processed minus the 15% restocking fee. If you use your Instant Credit Voucher to exchange for a new alternative hair piece, the 15% restocking fee is waived. We will process your refund within 1-2 business days from the date of delivery. Expedited shipping costs and Route Package Protection fees are non-refundable.
GIFT CARDS | If you use a gift card as a form of payment for your purchase, any returned funds will be refunded back to the gift card. We are unable to provide a cash refund for the amount of a gift card.
ELIGIBLE RETURNS | All returned products must be in eligible condition. A product eligible for return or exchange includes products that meet the following criteria:
- Packaging and product are not altered in any way. The item must be returned in a cardboard box.
- Items received back in bubble mailers or packing paper will be returned to the sender unopened if the package is perceived as damaged upon arrival.
- Hair must not be shaken out, brushed, or styled.
- The product has not been worn (except for trying it on).
- Odor-Free | Any odors on the product will render the product ineligible for return or exchange. This includes cigarette smoke, perfume, etc.
- Product Free | Any products added to the item will render the product ineligible for return or exchange. This includes any styling products, including water misting.
- Packaging | All original packaging must be returned with the item(s). This includes tags, tissue paper, packaging materials and wig box.
- Damage | Returned item(s) and packaging are not damaged in any way.
- Request for Return / Exchange is made within 15 days of receipt of merchandise.
INELIGIBLE RETURNS | Products ineligible for return or exchange are as follows:
- Final Sale Items: Clearance Items, Discontinued Items, Hair Care Products
- Accessories include hats with hair, headwear, clip-in bangs, ponytails, styling products, canvas blockheads, tape, adhesive, hot air brushes and flat irons, combs, etc.
- Any product that does not meet the Eligible Return Criteria
- If your product is received back and determined ineligible for return, we will ship the product back to you at our cost and include a copy of the Quality Control Report illustrating our findings.
DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS | If we are sending your item back to the manufacturer due to a potential defect and inspection, you will receive a refund as soon as the manufacturer processes the inspection request. Please allow up to 15 business days for an inspection to be completed. It may take up to 5 additional business days for your bank to reflect your refund on your statement.
- If the product is deemed defective by the manufacturer, you will receive a full refund.
- If the product is not deemed defective by the manufacturer, you will receive a refund minus a 15% restocking fee.
HOW TO RETURN | To request a return, please visit our Returns Center within 15 business days of receipt of your item:
- Enter your Order Number from your order confirmation email, along with the Zip Code from your shipping address to begin your return
- Select the item(s) you wish to return
- Select the “Reason for Return”
- Select “Complete Your Return Request”
- You will be provided with an Instant Credit Voucher for the full amount of the item(s) you are returning. This allows you to complete an instant exchange, using a store credit from your previous order. The Instant Credit Voucher is optional and is not required. If you choose to not use your Instant Credit Voucher, you will receive a refund minus a 15% restocking fee once your returned items are delivered to us.
- Please provide feedback on your return in the "Additional Feedback" box and then select the "Confirm" button.
- We provide a free pre-paid return shipping label for your convenience. You can print your return label from the next screen by clicking the "Download Shipping Label" button. You will also receive an email with the return instructions and the return label. Please check your spam folder if you do not see this in your inbox.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS | We are unable to provide a pre-paid return label for any returns outside the USA. All international customers will be responsible for the cost of return shipping in addition to a 15% restocking fee. This fee will be deducted from your refund once your return has been received and processed. To begin the return process for an international return, please email us at email@example.com.
