RETURN FEES | All returned items will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. If you opt for a store credit in lieu of a refund to your original form of payment, the restocking fee will be waived. You will receive your store credit or refund to your original form of payment once your return has been received and processed.
EASY AND FREE RETURNS | Wig Studio 1 offers free returns when you opt for a store credit.
- If you choose to exchange your returned item for a different item, simply select the Store Credit option and we will process a store credit to your account once your return is received and approved. Please note that only one exchange can be made per item per order.
- A 15% restocking fee will apply to all orders once received and processed, unless a store credit is issued.
- All store credit will expire 6 months from the issue date.

UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS | An unauthorized return is a return that is not requested through our return portal or via our support team. An unauthorized return is a return that is sent back to the manufacturer directly without an RMA #. All unauthorized returns will be charged a 25% restocking fee.
REFUNDS | You will receive a refund to your original form of payment once your return has been received and processed, minus a 15% restocking fee. If you opt to receive a store credit in lieu of a refund to your original form of payment, the restocking fee will be waived. All refunds and store credits will be issued once the returned product(s) has been received and processed. In most cases, all returns and refunds are processed within 2-3 business days from the date of delivery. On rare occasions, the processing time may extend to a maximum of 15 business days. If the processing time is anticipated to be extended, you will receive a notification within 3 business days from the delivery date of your return. Expedited shipping costs and Route Package Protection fees are non-refundable.
GIFT CARDS | If you use a gift card as a form of payment for your purchase, any returned funds will be refunded back to the gift card. We are unable to provide a cash refund for the amount of a gift card.
ELIGIBLE RETURNS | All returned products must be in eligible condition. A product eligible for return or exchange includes products that meet the following criteria:
- Packaging and product are not altered in any way. The item must be returned in a cardboard box.
- Items received back in bubble mailers or packing paper will be returned to the sender unopened if the package is perceived as damaged upon arrival.
- Hair must not be shaken out, brushed, or styled.
- The product has not been worn (except for trying it on).
- Odor-Free | Any odors on the product will render the product ineligible for return or exchange. This includes cigarette smoke, perfume, etc.
- Product Free | Any products added to the item will render the product ineligible for return or exchange. This includes any styling products, including water misting.
- Packaging | All original packaging must be returned with the item(s). This includes tags, tissue paper, packaging materials and wig box.
- Tags cannot be removed from the item(s).
- Damage | Returned item(s) and packaging are not damaged in any way.
- Request for Return / Store Credit is made within 15 days of receipt of merchandise.
INELIGIBLE RETURNS | Products ineligible for return or exchange are as follows:
- Final Sale Items: Clearance Items, Discontinued Items, Hair Care Products, and Special Deals.
- Accessories include hats with hair, headwear, clip-in bangs, ponytails, styling products, canvas blockheads, tape, adhesive, hot air brushes and flat irons, combs, etc.
- Any product that does not meet the Eligible Return Criteria
- If your product is received back and determined ineligible for return, we will ship the product back to you at our cost and include a copy of the Quality Control Report illustrating our findings.
DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS | If we are sending your item back to the manufacturer due to a potential defect and inspection, you will receive a refund as soon as the manufacturer processes the inspection request. Please allow up to 15 business days for an inspection to be completed. It may take up to 5 additional business days for your bank to reflect your refund on your statement.
- If the product is deemed defective by the manufacturer, you will receive a full refund.
- If the product is not deemed defective by the manufacturer, you will receive a refund minus a 15% restocking fee.
HOW TO RETURN | To request a return, please visit our Returns Center within 15 business days of receipt of your item:
- Enter your six-digit Order Number from your order confirmation email and the Zip Code from your shipping address to begin your return.
- Select the item(s) you wish to return.
- Select the reason for your return.
- Choose a credit method.
- Confirm your credit option.
- Click the arrow inside the box to acknowledge that you have read and agree to the return policy conditions.
- Submit your return.
- We provide a free pre-paid return shipping label for your convenience. You can print your return label from the next screen by clicking the "Print return label" button. Please also click the "Print packing slip" and include this slip inside the box with your return. You will also receive an email with the return instructions and the return label. Please check your spam folder if you do not see this in your inbox.
Packaging Your Return
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS | We are unable to provide a pre-paid return label for any returns outside the USA. All international customers will be responsible for the cost of return shipping in addition to a 15% restocking fee. This fee will be deducted from the refund once the return has been received and processed. To begin the return process for an international return, please visit our International Returns Portal.
