Human Hair Care
We recommend washing your Alternative Hair every 6-8 wears
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Wig Studio 1 does not recommend coloring or chemically altering alternative hair
- Performing a check was on all human hair systems within 10 days of receipt is recommended.
CHECK WASH
- Before washing your human hair wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
- Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
- Do NOT soak your wig or topper
- Comb through hair with your fingers several times
- If no signs of tangling or matting occur, continue to cleanse and condition while checking for excessive tangling as you go
- If you DO notice excessive tangling or matting, it may be a sign of inversion
- If this occurs, please contact us at support@wigstudio1.com immediately
- Tangling or matting that occurs after months of wear is due to improper care
CLEANSE & CONDITION
- Before washing your human hair wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
- Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
- We do not recommend soaking your wig or hair topper
- Gently lather the hair with a small amount of wig shampoo specifically formulated for human hair wigs and toppers, while making sure that the water is traveling in the same direction as the fibers
- Do not rub hair as this may cause tangling
- Rinse thoroughly in cool running water until the water runs clear
- Apply conditioner specifically formulated for alternative hair, avoiding the base of the wig or hairpiece (applying conditioner to the base/cap may weaken the knots)
- Using your fingers, work conditioner through mid-lengths and ends for 3-5 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly in cool running water until the water runs clear
DRY & STYLE
- Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat to remove excess water
- Gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
- Allow cap to dry completely before wearing, storing, displaying, or applying to a canvas block head for styling
STYLING
- For styling, apply wig or topper to a canvas block head
- Spray a heat protectant lightly on the hair, avoiding the base and working down toward the ends. Work in 2" increments.
TIPS
- Use professional grade heat styling tools with digital temperature settings to control heat
- Use no higher than 330° F to help maintain the integrity of the hair

I trimmed the bangs and I need a little more texturing on the sides. It looks great as it is though. I like the fact I can tuck it behind my ear or change the part! Great wig!! Great price!! Terri O"
I don't know why something so simple is so hard!
"The Tandi wig is a nice wig, great fiber and fit. However it is really short with a high bob in the back. The style is set as is, there is really nothing you can do with it. I loved the color called Dark Gray, light brown with 20% gray, this is my perfect hair color so I REALLY wanted it to work out, but it didn't. I also ordered Gia, straight synthetic, it was OK style but the same color Dark gray was just that, Dark Gray. Not 20% gray, more like 60%. I think perhaps the Envy hair is the perfect 20% gray, so I ordered Emma in Envy hair, once again great color, but the wig is just a big bush. The other Envy Hair pieces are just too short or too expensive. There seems to be no light brown colors anywhere with about 20-30% gray, or even a light ash brown color. I don't know why there are hundreds of blonde wigs and I cant find one ash brown color with no red in it. Why does everyone have to be a blond?, a red or dark brown hair. I have looked ""every where""!! Back to the drawing board. Wig Studio 1 has bee the greatest, fast delivery and returns. I will be sure to continue to work with them."
