Important Guidelines

• Not Ready-to-Wear: Human hair wigs require washing, conditioning, and styling before the first wear. They do not come pre-styled out of the box.

• Handle with Care: Take extra precautions with lace front wigs—lace material is delicate and should not be tugged or pulled.

• Avoid Water Exposure: Do not sleep, shower, or swim while wearing your wig to prevent tangling, matting, or cap damage.

• Professional Services Only: Any cutting, coloring, or chemical processing (such as perming) should be done by a licensed hair professional. We do not recommend bleaching human hair wigs. Color depositing is safer and more effective.

• Please Note: Wigs that are worn, cut, or chemically altered are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Pre-Wash Detangling

Before washing:

• Gently detangle using a wide-tooth comb.

• Always start at the ends and work your way up to the base.

• Never brush or stretch the hair when dry to avoid breakage.

Washing Your Human Hair Wig

Avoid soaking or using hot water. These steps will help keep your wig’s structure and softness intact:

1. Hold the wig under cool, running water. Let the water flow from the roots down to the ends in the direction of the hair fibers.

2. Dispense a small amount of sulfate-free shampoo for color-treated hair into your hands and distribute gently through the hair in a downward motion.

3. Rinse thoroughly under cool water until the shampoo is completely removed.

4. Press (do not wring) the hair gently to remove excess water.

Conditioning Instructions

1. Apply a small amount of moisture-rich conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends only.

2. Do not apply conditioner to the base or roots—this may loosen hand-tied knots and cause shedding.

3. Leave conditioner on for 1–2 minutes or as directed. Avoid over-conditioning, as this may weaken the wig.

4. Rinse thoroughly with cool water.

5. Gently pat with a towel to absorb moisture—do not twist or wring.

Drying Tips

• Place your wig on a vented wig stand to air dry naturally.

• For hairpieces, clip onto a hanger or lay flat on a color-safe towel (especially for hand-tied bases).

• Avoid drying on mannequin heads or canvas blocks, which may overstretch the cap.

Styling Human Hair Wigs

• Use only styling tools made for wigs.

• Hair must be completely dry before using thermal tools.

• Use low heat settings on curling irons, flat irons, and blow dryers to prevent scorching.

To Straighten:
Use a flat iron on 1-inch sections from base to ends. Let cool before touching.

To Curl:
Wrap 1-inch sections around a curling iron for 8–10 seconds, then release. For gentle curls, try steam rollers or wet setting—these are the safest heatless options.

Optional: Add wig-safe styling products for extra hold or shine.

Daily Wig Maintenance

• After each wear, gently detangle with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb.

• Store on a wig stand or hang hairpieces to maintain shape and avoid crimps.

• Between washes, refresh your wig with a light mist of leave-in conditioner and detangle as needed.
