Synthetic Hair Care

We Recommend Washing Your Alternative Hair Every 6-8 Wears

CLEANSE & CONDITION

  • Before washing your wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
  • Do not submerge or soak your wig or topper
  • Gently lather the hair with a small amount of shampoo specifically formulated for synthetic hair, making sure the hair is traveling in the same direction
  • DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling
  • Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until water runs clear
  • Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry
  • Spray fibers with a conditioning spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base of wig or hairpiece
  • Please follow instructions for use depending on products used
  • Gently detangle hair using your Wide Tooth Comb

DRY & STYLE

  • Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand
  • DO NOT blow dry synthetic hair
  • For mid-length to long length styles, apply a detangling spray, (3-5 pumps) focusing on bottom half of wig or hairpiece.
  • Gently comb through using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • We recommend using your fingertips or wig comb for your desired style
  • Consider additional products to add texture and definition, using a small amount and applying using your fingertips
  • Do NOT use heat to style synthetic fiber (curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers)

TIPS

  • Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e., open oven, heater, etc.)
  • Excessive heat can damage the fiber
  • We recommend using a detangling spray with a wide tooth comb to detangle your piece after each wear

"I have always loved Candace, but I had weirded off trying different units so I came for a circle and came back to Candace and now I am so so impressed. Even better than I ever ever remembered. I’m absolutely stunned with this unit now I will continue with Candace and Try different colors staying in the blonde to strawberry blonde range. Henry Margo has always been triple AAA in his industry this unit is even more true to life than before there have been some changes made. It seems like to me it’s a little less dense than before, which is a positive The hair strands are even more silky than before and I’m talking in the last two years. "Unfortunately had to return Candace as it was way too much hair for me, falling in my face. Maybe that was due to the permatease and too long for me. Think a shorter style better choice, so I ordered HM Brooklyn in 26GR and am pleased with that style although wish it had come in the 10/613GR. Hope that HM offers more contemporary mid length styles in ashy/platinum blonde shades"

Not Great

"I wanted to love Candace after reading and seeing all the reviews online. I’m thinking maybe I got a different wig because the one I received had a lot of layers in it and is so shiny like doll hair. I haven’t worn it in public and most likely can’t return it because I’ve tried it on a few times. It did not have the zig zag part that they come with when buying new. Bummer as I’m now back to my search on a style that looks like the one shown for Candace."

Like It . . . Was Hoping To Love It

"Well. . . I thought I would love it since so many people seem to so I'm a bit disappointed. I like it enough to keep it though. I have color 8/14H which I do really like. It's my second Henry Margu wig in that color. It's a nice overall natural medium brown with subtle dark blonde and auburn highlights. I'm pretty new to wigs and I'm beginning to realize I'm more of a wavy hair gal so far. Pros: Regular synthetic, color, natural density, lace front is nice, roomy cap, comfortable, layers are nice. Cons: Middle part (hard to take it to the side much in front), too long, too flat overall, surprisingly tangly right off the bat. I'm only 5'3"" and I think I must also have a very short neck because this is the second straight wig that seems so much longer on me than anyone else I see modeling it. I cut an inch off so far and will probably try at least one more. The way it hits my shoulders the ends stick straight out on the sides. My circumference is 22 1/2 but I find this cap very roomy which is fine with me, better than tight. It's actually the roomiest cap I've ever had. WigStudio1 has great customer service, pricing, and fast delivery."
