Synthetic Hair Care

We Recommend Washing Your Alternative Hair Every 6-8 Wears

CLEANSE & CONDITION

  • Before washing your wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
  • Do not submerge or soak your wig or topper
  • Gently lather the hair with a small amount of shampoo specifically formulated for synthetic hair, making sure the hair is traveling in the same direction
  • DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling
  • Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until water runs clear
  • Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry
  • Spray fibers with a conditioning spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base of wig or hairpiece
  • Please follow instructions for use depending on products used
  • Gently detangle hair using your Wide Tooth Comb

DRY & STYLE

  • Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand
  • DO NOT blow dry synthetic hair
  • For mid-length to long length styles, apply a detangling spray, (3-5 pumps) focusing on bottom half of wig or hairpiece.
  • Gently comb through using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • We recommend using your fingertips or wig comb for your desired style
  • Consider additional products to add texture and definition, using a small amount and applying using your fingertips
  • Do NOT use heat to style synthetic fiber (curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers)

TIPS

  • Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e., open oven, heater, etc.)
  • Excessive heat can damage the fiber
  • We recommend using a detangling spray with a wide tooth comb to detangle your piece after each wear

Extremely frizzy fibers-especially the ends

"Love the color just like my Brooklyn but this barely lasted a month and I do not wear the same wig everyday. I don’t wear them when I get home either only for out during daytime. Ends look all frazzled and dead. I don’t have any issues with my longer Brooklyn in the same color/brand Even my daughter thought it looked bad right off the start. Do not recommend at all and I love this brand. Brooklyn is my go to everyday hair. This is a hard pass - very disappointed."

This is a great wig for the price

"This is a great wig for the price. It seems like a lot of hair, and I wouldn't have bought it when I first started my wig journey. But this 60-year-old now wears what she wants and enjoys it. I love the length and the boho vibe. I used heat to train the bangs off my face, plus texturizing spray because it seemed kind of ""fuzzy"" to me. Voila! A cute, casual, affordable treat."

The top is disappointing.

"The fibers are beautiful. The front top not so much. There are several holes in the front with no fiber in them. It is very noticeable. So noticeable I cannot wear it without a hat. The price was very reasonable and that is the only reason I kept it. I would not buy Roxie again."

"Alexander Turnbull has outdone himself with Roxie! I was afraid it might be too much hair but it’s not! This is so lightweight! The lace top and front are impeccable. The cap is super comfy! It’s like I’m not wearing anything. And even though I was sent the wrong color, I’m not mad and I’m keeping it. I did go ahead and order another though. Might have to get this one in all the colors.
