Synthetic Hair Care
We Recommend Washing Your Alternative Hair Every 6-8 Wears
CLEANSE & CONDITION
- Before washing your wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
- Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
- Do not submerge or soak your wig or topper
- Gently lather the hair with a small amount of shampoo specifically formulated for synthetic hair, making sure the hair is traveling in the same direction
- DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling
- Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until water runs clear
- Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry
- Spray fibers with a conditioning spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base of wig or hairpiece
- Please follow instructions for use depending on products used
- Gently detangle hair using your Wide Tooth Comb
DRY & STYLE
- Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand
- DO NOT blow dry synthetic hair
- For mid-length to long length styles, apply a detangling spray, (3-5 pumps) focusing on bottom half of wig or hairpiece.
- Gently comb through using your Wide Tooth Comb
- We recommend using your fingertips or wig comb for your desired style
- Consider additional products to add texture and definition, using a small amount and applying using your fingertips
- Do NOT use heat to style synthetic fiber (curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers)
TIPS
- Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e., open oven, heater, etc.)
- Excessive heat can damage the fiber
- We recommend using a detangling spray with a wide tooth comb to detangle your piece after each wear

"On the plus side, the color I got RH1226 is very nice, a warm light brown with gold blonde highlights. Since I have a small head, I always must use the cinchers and I'm used to the velcro ones. (Really don't like the bra-strap ones. They tend to slide and get looser. ) But the cinchers on Violet are simple hooks and a ribbon with stitched spaces. I can easily move the hooks until I find the stitched spaces that tighten the wig circumference adequately. I'm giving this particular wig four stars because some hair sections in the back are barely wavy, almost straight. I've tried curling them with heatless rollers, which wasn't too successful. So I've just learned to live with it as is."

"I have 2 of this wig an they are not kinky curly,this one I purchased isn't for me at all,to much curl for my taste, length was shorter than my others I have, would I recommend yes for the lady that likes alot of curl, this is the one. i wish all wigs were made identically so we can know for sure what we are getting. . difference changes everything with a wig!"

Violet, not what I had hoped for
"I have been quite disappointed with Violet. It reminds me of my mother's hair back in the 60's, Wish I had returned this wig but I thought maybe she just needed some playing with. The thing I dislike the most is that there are no layers and the curls don't start until over half-way down the hair length so cutting in some layers wouldn't really solve the problem. The whole thing kind of looks like a helmet with a poof of a fringe around the bottom, I do not wear this wig away from home and usually put it on when heading out to do yard work. Perhaps I am just not great at translating the specs into what it will all look like on my head."

She was so knowledgeable and helpful, promptly emailing videos of the wig in available color choices I received Violet today and the color and style are just what I wanted. Although a little bit shiny, dry shampoo worked well. I am also pleased with the short amount of time for processing and shipping. Thanks again, Becky, and Wig Studio 1."

"Violet in SilverSun RT8 is pretty. It’s my first in this color, which was even more white than I expected. I prefer a bit more height on the top and fullness on the sides, but I’ll still enjoy wearing this piece which is quite different than most that I’ve purchased before."
