Synthetic Hair Care

We Recommend Washing Your Alternative Hair Every 6-8 Wears

CLEANSE & CONDITION

  • Before washing your wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
  • Do not submerge or soak your wig or topper
  • Gently lather the hair with a small amount of shampoo specifically formulated for synthetic hair, making sure the hair is traveling in the same direction
  • DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling
  • Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until water runs clear
  • Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry
  • Spray fibers with a conditioning spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base of wig or hairpiece
  • Please follow instructions for use depending on products used
  • Gently detangle hair using your Wide Tooth Comb

DRY & STYLE

  • Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand
  • DO NOT blow dry synthetic hair
  • For mid-length to long length styles, apply a detangling spray, (3-5 pumps) focusing on bottom half of wig or hairpiece.
  • Gently comb through using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • We recommend using your fingertips or wig comb for your desired style
  • Consider additional products to add texture and definition, using a small amount and applying using your fingertips
  • Do NOT use heat to style synthetic fiber (curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers)

TIPS

  • Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e., open oven, heater, etc.)
  • Excessive heat can damage the fiber
  • We recommend using a detangling spray with a wide tooth comb to detangle your piece after each wear

"So I bought this in two colors, light brown which I think is way more a subtle soft reddish blonde on me than brown and 4/6 which is pretty much my bio color. I love it, easy to shake out and this was worth every penny. the lighter one finds better but the darker one is a better color for me, although much tighter for some odd reason. However loosing the straps on one side resolved it for me somewhat. The ease of working with the fibers is nice as well. While it’s not a HF wig like my fave Belletress brand, I still was able to steam it to the way I like my parts to show. People at work thought it was my own hair on first glance, just with a shorter style. If you are finding it too flat, hang it upside down for two days and shake it out. It helps! I’d love to add in pics of both shades but I see no options for uploads of pics on site currently."

Found the right color

"I finally found a wig in the right color for me. Miley is overall good. I had to do a little trimming on the bangs but that was no problem. It is a bit big for my petite head and I don’t like the bra-type fit adjusters at the nape. They don’t stay tightened. I tied a knot in the ends of t side but that made the strap stick out behind my ear. Thanks think I can stitch them down and then I won’t have the problem. Overall, I like Miley but most important, the color feels right!"

"I reviewed this style before in the color sparkling champagne I love it for a fall and winter color but I’m so glad I got it in the light blonde color it’s much more me. I love everything about this style regardless of color it’s perfect for summer and light. I do find the cap on the tight side for someone with a average large cap size it’s still workable for me."
