We Recommend Washing Your Alternative Hair Every 6-8 Wears

CLEANSE & CONDITION

  • Before washing your wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
  • Do not submerge or soak your wig or topper
  • Gently lather the hair with a small amount of shampoo specifically formulated for synthetic hair, making sure the hair is traveling in the same direction
  • DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling
  • Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until water runs clear
  • Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry
  • Spray fibers with a conditioning spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base of wig or hairpiece
  • Please follow instructions for use depending on products used
  • Gently detangle hair using your Wide Tooth Comb

DRY & STYLE

  • Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand
  • DO NOT blow dry synthetic hair
  • For mid-length to long length styles, apply a detangling spray, (3-5 pumps) focusing on bottom half of wig or hairpiece.
  • Gently comb through using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • We recommend using your fingertips or wig comb for your desired style
  • Consider additional products to add texture and definition, using a small amount and applying using your fingertips
  • Do NOT use heat to style synthetic fiber (curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers)

TIPS

  • Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e., open oven, heater, etc.)
  • Excessive heat can damage the fiber
  • We recommend using a detangling spray with a wide tooth comb to detangle your piece after each wear

"I have ordered many Raquel Welch wigs “Winner” Then I tried the Premium Winner/ w lace front. I ordered 2 in Glazed Vanilla, a lighter blonde/ silver grey mix , light color. Love these !! -Full & Light color with lace front & parting area -looks very natural! I Love this color I am 76 yr. a retired hairstylist. Then I ordered a color in Winner Premium I normally wear 56/60 Silver-mist. . The wefts in back were barely covered , I asked why. ?Was told it was normal /common because of the grey light color, sent pictures also. All the suggestions to remedy it were not working on my end . So I sadly ,I don’t want to wear it I would be embarrassed if someone saw iwefts visible looking back of my head. I’m 21 1/4 “ head average. Fit is perfect / w adjusters . . I will be sending it back & order regular Winner in this color. . next time. They have tried to resolve this by asking me to send it for inspection , but I think ,like I was informed, it’s just the issue that is normal for its lighter color that is all . I will continue to order from this company since it has been my best results / go to. I’ve been ordering with this company 3 yrs now and have been very satisfied with my purchases. I also own Several other brands from Wigstudio1 I’m very happy with them."

My Favorite go To Wig!

"I’m a huge fan of Raquel Welch wigs. I have worn several other brands. Raquel’s fit me best “Winner “ ( I am an averg/petite 21 & 1/4 - which is now an “ Average “- petite -is too small) I started wearing wigs 3 yr ago. I’ve always loved long hair. Although I find the convenience of a “pixie shake & go” is the best of all worlds! I have an immune deficiency that causes balding spots on my head randomly. I like all the colors , but not fond of rooted types. I prefer Silver mist & glazed vanilla they are my two favorites. I’m 75 yrs old , so these wigs look so natural & I get tons of compliments from total strangers as well as friends who are not aware I have a wig on. People that I do tell -it’s a wig - are so shocked & they can’t believe it’s not my real hair. I am so Very pleased with my newest hair color In Glazed Vanilla."

"I had originally wanted to return it since I’ve never had short hair and didn’t like how it looked. I decided to wear it for a few days to see if I’d change my mind. After taking time to adjust to seeing myself with short hair, I’ve decided I like it after all. I’m very happy with quality of this wig and am pleased to add her to my collection."

"I am not very confident with wearing different wigs. I only have Winner that I like and suits me. I have purchased two different RW wigs but they didn’t suit me or feel comfortable. This is my first purchase from Wig Studio 1. I can sweep to the side more off my face, which makes such a change. I find it is slightly smaller that my others. I stick to the same colour. I was a bit concerned as I am buying from uk but everything was fine. So I am pleased with my wig and maybe will be more adventurous. I enjoy watching the videos showing how wigs can really change your appearance. Thank you.x"
