Synthetic fiber can tangle or frizz over time, especially at the nape and on mid-length and long styles, where hair rubs against collars, scarves and car seats. To keep it smooth:
Regular synthetic fiber is sensitive to heat. Be cautious near open ovens, grills, heaters, dishwashers and steam, and when lighting candles or fireplaces. A sudden blast of heat can frizz or melt the fiber in seconds, and the damage can't be reversed.
Signs it's time for a new wig include frizz at the ends that won't comb out, a dry or dull texture, thinning at the nape or a stretched cap. Rotating between two wigs helps each one last longer.
You'll need a synthetic wig shampoo and conditioner, a detangling spray, a wide tooth comb and a wig stand. Shop wig care products for synthetic hair.
It's best not to. Sleeping in a wig causes friction and tangling, and shower heat and steam can damage the fiber. Remove your wig and place it on a stand overnight.
Frizz is usually caused by friction against clothing or by exposure to heat. Detangle daily, reduce friction at the nape and keep the wig away from heat sources. Regular synthetic frizz can't be smoothed with heat, so prevention is key.

It's best not to. Regular shampoos can strip and dull synthetic fiber. Use products made specifically for synthetic wigs.

Very wearable and looks just as wonderful after washing. The ONLY thing I wish is that the cap was a tiny bit bigger: my circumference is at the large end of average (22"") and I could use a little more cap. But if your hair is very short you should be fine :-)"

"Jett is my first wig because I want to grow out my colored hair. It looks very good, but the color Silversun RT is significantly lighter than in the product photos, a very light silver-white with dark roots. The wig is very dense and is therefore difficult to style. I'll be sure to thin them out. The fit is a bit too small for me (22. 5) along with a Wigrip, I'm hoping it will stretch out more. But I can still wear it all day without it bothering me. It looks natural, so far no one has noticed that it is a wig."

Unfortunately it didn't look anything like the photos and videos I have watched online. I have all the tools and products to use. . . but honestly I didn't dare use anything on it. "I have looked at Jett for a while now and never got one. When I saw a color I liked on clearance here at Wig Studio 1 I decided now is the time, and so glad I did! I am not disappointed! So cute and easy and styled quickly out of the box. Just a little steam to make the part where I wanted it and a little dry shampoo for the shine. Voila! Perfect! And it's very comfortable too, in fact the most comfortable wig yet for me. I got color RH12/26RT4 and it's very dimensional and pretty. My head is 22 3/4 inch circumference, 12 over the top ear-to-ear, and 13 hairline to nape, if that helps anyone else with sizing. It is not tight and I've worn it all day today and it still feels comfortable. I started my wig journey with longer, shoulder length styles and didn't think I would like short styles, but I've discovered I like short much better! So much easier to wear, in my opinion. Jett is awesome and my favorite style yet!"
