We recommend washing your Alternative Hair every 6-8 wears

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Wig Studio 1 does not recommend coloring or chemically altering alternative hair
  • Performing a check was on all human hair systems within 10 days of receipt is recommended. 

CHECK WASH

  • Before washing your human hair wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
  • Do NOT soak your wig or topper
  • Comb through hair with your fingers several times
  • If no signs of tangling or matting occur, continue to cleanse and condition while checking for excessive tangling as you go
  • If you DO notice excessive tangling or matting, it may be a sign of inversion
  • If this occurs, please contact us at support@wigstudio1.com immediately
  • Tangling or matting that occurs after months of wear is due to improper care

CLEANSE & CONDITION

  • Before washing your human hair wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
  • We do not recommend soaking your wig or hair topper
  • Gently lather the hair with a small amount of wig shampoo specifically formulated for human hair wigs and toppers, while making sure that the water is traveling in the same direction as the fibers
  • Do not rub hair as this may cause tangling
  • Rinse thoroughly in cool running water until the water runs clear
  • Apply conditioner specifically formulated for alternative hair, avoiding the base of the wig or hairpiece (applying conditioner to the base/cap may weaken the knots)
  • Using your fingers, work conditioner through mid-lengths and ends for 3-5 minutes
  • Rinse thoroughly in cool running water until the water runs clear

DRY & STYLE

  • Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat to remove excess water
  • Gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • Allow cap to dry completely before wearing, storing, displaying, or applying to a canvas block head for styling

STYLING

  • For styling, apply wig or topper to a canvas block head
  • Spray a heat protectant lightly on the hair, avoiding the base and working down toward the ends. Work in 2" increments.

TIPS

  • Use professional grade heat styling tools with digital temperature settings to control heat
  • Use no higher than 330° F to help maintain the integrity of the hair

"This is my second Bespoke 20"-26" Remy Human Hair wig in Brulee Doree. I like to have a backup and decided to go ahead and order a second one as they were on sale. This is a beautiful wig and now that I have two and can alternate I am sure they will last me for some time. Customer service is very personalized. I had ordered Brulee and Andrea called me to confirm that I had meant to order that color as she noticed that my previous purchase was for the Brulee Doree and they had that one in stock if I wanted to change my order. I had ordered the Brulee color simply because I did not see the Brulee Doree in stock and was hoping it to be similar in color. I was happy that she called and allowed me to change my order color as I really like to keep my wigs and hair color similar or same so people don't comment. I have not had that kind of personalized service from any other wig store online. If I could give WS1 and Andrea 10 stars I would! Thank you Andrea!"

"Absolutely love everything about this stunning PUSH human hair wig. I have had this for several months now and what's not to love! The Brulee Doree color is perfect - a dimensional warm blonde that is exactly the way I used to color my hair. Density is also good - not too heavy. The 20"-26" length is also perfect for me. I just did my first wash and the hair is super soft. Dries a bit fluffy but gives it that just washed effect. . . I like it that way for a few days then I straighten it. Cap fit is wonderful on my 21. 5" head. I did sew a comb in the nape (do this for all my wigs to secure under my tiny ponytail) for security. I have quite a few human hair wigs by many brands and this one is right up there at the top for quality. Love everything about this wig and I hope to have it for a long time! Love it so much I am considering buying a second one to swap out and extend the life of the wig!"
