We recommend washing your wig every 6-8 wears.
CLEANSING & CONDITIONING YOUR WIG

Before washing your wig or topper, gently remove any tangles with your wide tooth comb.

Hold wig or topper under cool running water. Then, gently lather the hair with a capful of shampoo specifically designed for synthetic hair, while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. Do not rub hair as this may cause tangling

Rinse wig or topper thoroughly in cool water until the water runs clear

Wrap wig or hair piece in a towel and gently pat dry

Gently detangle hair using a conditioning spray specifically formulated for synthetic hair on the ends and a wide tooth comb. Keep the conditioner away from the base of the wig or topper.
DRYING & STYLING YOUR WIG

Allow your wig or topper to air dry naturally by placing it on a plastic or wire wig stand. Do not blow dry your synthetic wig.

To style, simply use your fingertips or wig brush/comb for your desired style.

Do not use any heat tools, such as curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers, to style your synthetic fiber wig or topper, unless it specifically states that the fibers are heat friendly synthetic or human hair.
TIPS

Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e. open oven, heater, etc.) Excessive heat can damage the synthetic fiber of your wig or topper.

We recommend using a detangling spray and a wide tooth comb to detangle your synthetic wig. This is especially important with the mid-length to long length wigs.

"I'm a wig newbie - this was my first wig - I thought something was wrong with it and now I know (since I've ordered other wigs and seen how they come) that I should have sent it back, I started the return, but they asked for pictures and I didn't know how to do them at the time; also - it was a heat friendly wig and I thought maybe that's the way it was supposed to be, but there was no net on it, it felt dirty/gummy and the bangs stuck straight out when it came, again - I never ordered a wig before and I thought that was the way it was supposed to be, but it's not. . . Because it was heat friendly I thought I could fix it, so I watched youtube videos and tried to straighten it but now it's a disaster and ruined; it just sits on my head, stick straight, no movement at all. . . It cost me almost $300, an expensive lesson learned the very hard way. . . The picture doesn't look that bad but it's bad. . . I'm so depressed. . ."

"I've been wearing wigs for 20 years and this is my absolute favorite! Got it in Platinum White which is identical to my hair color, and that is a rare thing. The fibers are super soft and fine (description says they're polyester, which is a new thing, I think) and best of all the cap is super stretchy, which is fabulous for my larger than average head, as well as it makes the cap more comfortable than any wig I've ever owned. I certainly hope TressAllure comes out with more styles in this fiber, cap and color because I'm a fan!"
