I'm excited to announce that Sammie has been promoted to Shipping Manager here at our Ridgefield location, effective July 1, 2021. In her new position, Sammie will oversee store operations to include the following:
- Employee schedules to ensure proper coverage
- Verifying UPS charges / Sending invoices for Interceptions to respective vendors
- Filing lost / damaged package claims on clearance shipments
- Creating QC Reports for ineligible returns and boxing them for shipping out.
- Processing returns and out-going clearance shipments as needed
- Managing store inventory
- Ordering supplies for the shop as needed
- Processing Special Orders (Godiva / PUSH and ensuring all store orders are shipped (combs, hair products, etc.)
- Assisting with Refunding orders via Returnly as needed
- Oversee employee professional development / training
Sammie has been with Wig Studio 1 since last July, with her one-year anniversary just around the corner! She has become a valuable asset to our location, ensuring returns are checked in and re-packaged for shipping once sold, among other things. Sammie is very intelligent, has a phenomenal sense of humor, and she is a very hard worker!
