Follow these expert tips to extend the life of your wig and maintain its beautiful finish.
Gently detangle with a wide-tooth comb—never use a brush.
Always start from the ends and work toward the base to avoid fiber damage.
Be especially careful with lace front wigs, as the lace is delicate and can tear with excessive pulling.
Avoid sudden heat exposure (e.g., ovens) as it may melt synthetic fibers.
Do not sleep, shower, or swim while wearing a synthetic wig.

Place on a wig stand to air dry.
Hand-tied hairpieces should dry flat on a towel.
Do not use a solid mannequin head or canvas block head, as this may stretch the cap and disrupt air flow to dry the interior of the cap.
Once dry, shake and finger-style the wig for a natural look.
Use HairUWear PROTECT before applying heat.
Set heat tools to low–medium (max 350°F/180°C).
To curl: wrap a 1" section around a curling iron, hold 10 seconds, clip to set while cooling.
To straighten: run a flat iron down a 1" section and let cool.
Once heat-styled, Tru2Life® fiber retains its shape—even after washing.
Refresh curls or waves by spritzing a 50/50 mix of RESTORE and water.
After each use, gently finger-comb or use a wide-tooth comb to remove tangles.
Refresh your style and neutralize odors with HairUWear REFRESH spray.
Store on a wig stand or clip onto a hanger to prevent kinks.
Only finger-style wavy or curly wigs when dry to preserve the texture.
For frizz or matting: wash, condition with RESTORE, and detangle gently from ends up using a wide tooth comb.

"First I want to say, I’ve been wearing toppers for 10+ years. I’ve worn human hair, HD fibers, and synthetic. I also spend hours reading/watching reviews before I purchase anything. I also know that toppers take a little work, they are not typically wear out of the box item. This is a new topper, so no reviews, but I went for it because of the brand. I took this out of box and was in instant tears. First the color,I don’t know what’s going on with RW colors, but they are NOT consistent. This Shaded Biscuit was pretty much all platinum, no definition, blend, depth, looked like one color, and the root was way lighter then what I have previously purchased. Then, we get to the fibers…this piece clearly had been worn or handled roughly and/or combed, the ends were tangled & dry, frizzy and already looked damaged. Also shedded more then to be expected. Then we go to the style, they are not beach waves, they are big stuck together thick at the bottom curls. Very clumped together curls. Looks absolutely nothing like the photo. I would NOT recommend this topper to anyone. I will say, it did arrive quickly . I truly hope this was sent from the factory not from Wig Studio 1, because I think this site is fantastic! And I love all your reviews & great sales! Etc. If this is how they are sending out products, representing your company, you should be aware of what your customers are actually receiving. I’m a single mom on a tight budget, took months to save up for this purchase. I’m extremely disappointed and discouraged to say the least. I will never purchase a RW piece again."
