Synthetic Hair Care

We Recommend Washing Your Alternative Hair Every 6-8 Wears

CLEANSE & CONDITION

  • Before washing your wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
  • Do not submerge or soak your wig or topper
  • Gently lather the hair with a small amount of shampoo specifically formulated for synthetic hair, making sure the hair is traveling in the same direction
  • DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling
  • Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until water runs clear
  • Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry
  • Spray fibers with a conditioning spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base of wig or hairpiece
  • Please follow instructions for use depending on products used
  • Gently detangle hair using your Wide Tooth Comb

DRY & STYLE

  • Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand
  • DO NOT blow dry synthetic hair
  • For mid-length to long length styles, apply a detangling spray, (3-5 pumps) focusing on bottom half of wig or hairpiece.
  • Gently comb through using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • We recommend using your fingertips or wig comb for your desired style
  • Consider additional products to add texture and definition, using a small amount and applying using your fingertips
  • Do NOT use heat to style synthetic fiber (curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers)

TIPS

  • Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e., open oven, heater, etc.)
  • Excessive heat can damage the fiber
  • We recommend using a detangling spray with a wide tooth comb to detangle your piece after each wear

"I was excited to get Alana in creamed coffee, the color is bold but more shiny than I’d like. The density of Alana is good for a ponytail or pulling part back. The fit around the face is too wide and doesn’t cover enough of the temples and hair above my ears. It does look cute with a hat though. After trying Alana, I purchased Mackenzie by Estetica which has a better fit and construction. Similar density. I pulled my hair back in photos to show the fit around my face. I wear average sized caps, I have a 21. 75 inch measurement."

Beautiful cut, but the lace front hairline needs work

"Tried this along with several other Envy wigs. This cut and the fibers were fabulous. But, I really am not a fan of the hairline. The lacefront has very straight lines of dense fibers with noticeable roots. . . and for someone who prefers a color other than light blond, it's just not a good look. The fibers also are pretty shiny in my experience, but nothing a little dry shampoo can't tame."

"I'm not sure why there's no reviews on this beautiful style! I was curious about her so I bought her, and I knew instantly that I loved her and I immediately ordered 4 more. So easy to wear and very comfortable! I never want to be without this one. I have had probably over 450 different wigs and this one is my favorite! Beautiful layers and the fibers are very soft"

"I had to work on her and make her my own . . . but that's true for most wigs you get . She is a pretty girl and glad I got her. There aren't many reviews about her on you tube . . . . however she is like Mackenzie by Estetica . . . her sister or cousin perhaps . . if your on the fence about her . . . . . go for it She is a nice unit . . not alot of permatease and she has very nice fibers Pretty girl!"
