Care Instructions

We recommend washing your wig every 6-8 wears.

 CLEANSING & CONDITIONING YOUR WIG

  • Before washing your wig or topper, gently remove any tangles with your wide tooth comb.

  • Hold wig or topper under cool running water. Then, gently lather the hair with a capful of shampoo specifically designed for synthetic hair, while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. Do not rub hair as this may cause tangling

  • Rinse wig or topper thoroughly in cool water until the water runs clear

  • Wrap wig or hair piece in a towel and gently pat dry 

  • Gently detangle hair using a conditioning spray specifically formulated for synthetic hair on the ends and a wide tooth comb. Keep the conditioner away from the base of the wig or topper.

DRYING & STYLING YOUR WIG

  • Allow your wig or topper to air dry naturally by placing it on a plastic or wire wig stand. Do not blow dry your synthetic wig.

  • To style, simply use your fingertips or wig brush/comb for your desired style.

  • Do not use any heat tools, such as curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers, to style your synthetic fiber wig or topper, unless it specifically states that the fibers are heat friendly synthetic or human hair.

TIPS

  • Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e. open oven, heater, etc.) Excessive heat can damage the synthetic fiber of your wig or topper.

  • We recommend using a detangling spray and a wide tooth comb to detangle your synthetic wig. This is especially important with the mid-length to long length wigs.

Realistic and beautiful

"Gabor Opulence Large in GL6/30 is a natural , realistic looking wig. The fibers have a healthy hair shine, does not look wiggy at all. The cap is stretchy, feels snug but not uncomfortable. The style is an effortlessly easy one right out of the box. It was easy to comb out the zig zag part and It lays very naturally close to the head. It is however very sleek. Lace-front melts perfectly into hairline and I am able to wear the front clipped away from the face without detecting the lace. Knots are so tiny they are almost non existent. Color 6/30 is natural looking brown with blended copper highlights, the highlights are not big and chunky, they look more blended and natural. A root on this wig in this color would make it perfect. Otherwise it’s an easy, natural looking, comfortable style. I did not have to fuss with it or constantly comb it, fibers and style stay pretty much intact throughout the day. Service at Wigstudio1 was excellent as usual, everyone is helpful and patient."
