We recommend washing your wig every 8-10 wears.
Before washing your wig or topper, gently remove any tangles with your wide tooth comb.
Hold wig or topper under cool running water, allowing the water to run in the direction of the fibers. You may also fill a basin of luke-warm water for washing. Then, gently lather the hair with a capful of Rene of Paris Shampoo or another shampoo specifically designed for synthetic hair, while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. Do not rub hair as this may cause tangling.
Rinse wig or topper thoroughly in cool water until the water runs clear.
Wrap wig or hair piece in a towel and gently pat dry.
Allow your wig or topper to air dry naturally by placing it on a plastic or wire wig stand. Do not blow dry your synthetic wig.
To style, simply use your fingertips or wig brush/comb for your desired style.
Do not use any heat tools, such as curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers, to style your synthetic fiber wig or topper, unless it specifically states that the fibers are heat friendly synthetic or human hair.
Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e. open oven, heater, etc.) Excessive heat can damage the synthetic fiber of your wig or topper.
We recommend using a detangling spray and a wide tooth comb to detangle your synthetic wig. This is especially important with the mid-length to long length wigs.

"This wig does not look like the online photo. The sides don't curl back whatsoever. The back is straight and stringy looking. I do like the color and the swept bangs, so i will try to steam curls/waves in it."
"I've been purchasing Carrie over and over for many years because the color (Nutmeg-R), style, length and fibers are--individually and in combination--the very best of the best. Still, it is always a struggle because the wig is really too small for me. If Noriko would make this in a LARGE size, I'd be entirely faithful and stop looking around for a more comfortable wig. (Because I'm a realist, I won't even mention how unparalleled this would be with the addition of high quality ear-to-ear lace. Ahh. . . Carrie in large cap with ear-to-ear lace. That would leave challenges to other areas of life!)"
