Synthetic fiber can tangle or frizz over time, especially at the nape and on mid-length and long styles, where hair rubs against collars, scarves and car seats. To keep it smooth:
Regular synthetic fiber is sensitive to heat. Be cautious near open ovens, grills, heaters, dishwashers and steam, and when lighting candles or fireplaces. A sudden blast of heat can frizz or melt the fiber in seconds, and the damage can't be reversed.
Signs it's time for a new wig include frizz at the ends that won't comb out, a dry or dull texture, thinning at the nape or a stretched cap. Rotating between two wigs helps each one last longer.

"When I first put Vamp on the fibers were so silky soft and luxurious, I've been wearing her on average 6 days a week for about 10 hrs per day the past 2. 5 months. There was no tangling at all (not even the nape) but once the silkiness of the fibers wore off slight tangling started to appear at the nape/underneath and an overall dryness of the fibers appeared. I've used SimplyStylin' both the spray and the bottle but nothing has brought back the initial softness of the fibers. Overall love the color (sunflower), the style (beautiful curl pattern), the fit (I'm on the smaller side), and the value of this piece - just wish I knew how to revive those fibers."
"Vamp is gorgeous on every reviewer I’ve seen, unfortunately this style just didn’t look good on me. If I had a stylist that could cut wigs well, I would have kept her. Cap was very comfortable on my petite/average head. Butternut is a beautiful neutral blonde with nice natural looking rooting. Maybe when I’m more experienced and confident with wig wearing I’ll give Vamp another try. Thankful for WS1’s great customer support and return policy!"
