We recommend washing your wig every 6-8 wears.
CLEANSING & CONDITIONING YOUR WIG

Before washing your wig or topper, gently remove any tangles with your wide tooth comb.

Hold wig or topper under cool running water. Then, gently lather the hair with a capful of shampoo specifically designed for synthetic hair, while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. Do not rub hair as this may cause tangling

Rinse wig or topper thoroughly in cool water until the water runs clear

Wrap wig or hair piece in a towel and gently pat dry

Gently detangle hair using a conditioning spray specifically formulated for synthetic hair on the ends and a wide tooth comb. Keep the conditioner away from the base of the wig or topper.
DRYING & STYLING YOUR WIG

Allow your wig or topper to air dry naturally by placing it on a plastic or wire wig stand. Do not blow dry your synthetic wig.

To style, simply use your fingertips or wig brush/comb for your desired style.

Do not use any heat tools, such as curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers, to style your synthetic fiber wig or topper, unless it specifically states that the fibers are heat friendly synthetic or human hair.
TIPS

Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e. open oven, heater, etc.) Excessive heat can damage the synthetic fiber of your wig or topper.

We recommend using a detangling spray and a wide tooth comb to detangle your synthetic wig. This is especially important with the mid-length to long length wigs.

"I really want to love this one — the fibers are so silky, the color is gorgeous, and the lace front is perfection. Just like the last one I purchased (same model, different color). But unlike my first purchase of this style, the density with this one is so very light in patches that I can easily see through to the cap on top — so I can only part it in one place. It’s like dealing with hair loss, which is disconcerting considering hair loss is why I buy wigs. I’ll just pretend it’s a mono part rather than mono top — this was a clearance purchase for me so I won’t inquire about a return. I just adore Wig Studio 1 so absolutely no knock there!"
