So bad
"This wig was my first choice and it looks natural but it was absolutely awful. I loved the color but the permatease was so thick that it was a complete mess. Two hairstylists and a wig maker both noticed that it had more permatease on one side and they felt it was defective. They felt that it slipped through the quality inspection process."

I Wanted to Love It…but
"Couldn’t wait to get Calean. The color was great and the fibers luxurious and the wave pattern lovely. I’m a fan of permatease but this piece was over the top and way to much hair for me. The front was unmanageable with a chunky piece that seemed to be out of place. Unfortunately I will be returning her."

Tons of Permatease
"Fast shipping and a great buying experience from WS1 as always. The wig itself is so thick with permatease though. I had watched a review and knew it had a lot , but I truly was not prepared for the thickness! The curl pattern and color are wonderful. The fibers also feel good. Not one I would purchase again due to the permatease, but I am impressed with the other features and will try this brand in sone other styles that are a mono top."

I agree with other wig reviews
"I had ""Farrah Fawcett"" hair so I'm ok with lots of hair and permatease. I bought two of these and both have the thickest permatease of any style I own (and that's lots) It also has an unusual amount of hair especially around the entire crown/front/top area. I ended up cutting bangs because it was hard to style without the front showing (no lace. ) I'll be giving these to the local high school for school plays."

Caelen is my first Jon Renau wig. . . .
"""Calen"" by Jon Renau is a departure from the usual style I go with. But I wanted to step outside my comfort zone and try something else besides a bob. The Caelen wig is absolutely beautiful. I ordered it in the color Palm Springs Blonde. The color is gorgeous and very flattering to my skin tone/eye color. As mentioned in the title, this was my very first Jon Renau wig. My usual brands are Raquel Welch, Rene of Paris, and sometimes Noriko, but had to give JR a try because I've heard so many positive things about his products. Despite ""Caelen"" was, in my opinion, a little too pricey considering it doesn't have a lace front or mono features, I felt it was worth it. Plus I think it's wonderful that part of the proceeds from the sale of Calen are donated to charity. The wig arrived quickly and was packed with care. And the color/style is even more gorgeous in person--photos don't do it justice. However, once I put the wig on, it was a different story. I'm sorry to say that ""Caelen"" just didn't work for me. It has way too much hair and it looks like it's swallowing my small face. My husband also commented it looks very wiggy on me and I agree with him. I've tried every which way to get the wig to work because I do love it, but there is nothing to be done to help it look more natural. This is no one's fault; I understand certain wigs aren't going to work for everyone. I wouldn't dare attempt to alter the wig on my own because I don't possess the expertise to even try that, nor do I have a wig shop or salon nearby that could assist me with it. Therefore, I plan to donate it in the hopes that someone else can enjoy such a beautiful wig. I am still giving ""Caelen"" 5 stars because the wig is gorgeous and shipping was fast and flawless. just it turned out the wig didn't work out for me."
