CLEANSE & CONDITION
- Before washing your wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
- Wet hair completely using cool running water
- Gently lather the hair with a small amount of Jon Renau Fiber Love Wig Shampoo, making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. Do not rub hair as this may cause tangling
- Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until water runs clear
- Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry
- Spray with Jon Renau Fiber Love Conditioning Spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base of wig or hairpiece. Do not rinse out conditioner
- Gently detangle hair using your Wide Tooth Comb
DRY & STYLE
- Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand. DO NOT blow dry
- For mid-length to long length styles, apply HD Smooth Detangling Spray, (3-5 pumps) focusing on bottom half of wig or hairpiece. Gently comb through using your Wide Tooth Comb
- We recommend using your fingertips or wig brush/comb for your desired style
- Do NOT use heat to style traditional synthetic fiber (curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers). The only wigs or toppers that can be styled with heat must be designed with specific heat friendly synthetic fibers or with human hair.
TIPS
- Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e. open oven, heater, etc.) Excessive heat can damage the fiber
- We recommend using HD Smooth Detangling Spray with a wide tooth comb to detangle your synthetic wig. This is especially important with a mid-length to long length wig or hairpiece

Q&A
- I currently have the JR Easi-part in Shaded Mocha but the roots are too light for me. I need a blond topper that has a darker root. Also, the one I currently have is human hair because I like to curl it often. I am considering a synthetic topper this time in Shaded Praline. I also am thinking of trying a lace front topper because I find the easi-part clip in the front to look unnatural when trying to blend with the front of my hairline…perhaps because the color is off on the shaded mocha. My bio hair has a med/dark brown root with golden and platinum highlights. 1) does shaded praline have a dark root? 2) can I use heat on the synthetic JR smart top? If not, perhaps I just get the wavy one? Any help you could provide would be amazing. Also, if there is another brand I should consider, please let me know.
- Hi Katie! Thank you for your question(s). I will do my best to answer them for you. The Shaded Praline and Shaded Mocha both have the same color of root, which is color 8; however, the rooting in human hair will be lighter and warmer than the same rooting in the heat friendly synthetic or traditional synthetic fibers. So, before moving on to a new color, you may want to try the synthetic version of Shaded Mocha to see if it blends better for you. Top Smart Straight or Wavy by Jon Renau is designed with traditional synthetic and is not heat-friendly. I'd also like to note that the base size is 9"X 9", while the easiPart has a 5" x 2.75" base, so the Top Smart will have quite a bit more coverage, along with the lace front. If the easiPart topper has been working well for you other than the color, may I suggest trying the same topper in heat-friendly synthetic to see if the color blends better for you?
