Synthetic Hair Care

We Recommend Washing Your Alternative Hair Every 6-8 Wears

CLEANSE & CONDITION

  • Before washing your wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
  • Do not submerge or soak your wig or topper
  • Gently lather the hair with a small amount of shampoo specifically formulated for synthetic hair, making sure the hair is traveling in the same direction
  • DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling
  • Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until water runs clear
  • Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry
  • Spray fibers with a conditioning spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base of wig or hairpiece
  • Please follow instructions for use depending on products used
  • Gently detangle hair using your Wide Tooth Comb

DRY & STYLE

  • Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand
  • DO NOT blow dry synthetic hair
  • For mid-length to long length styles, apply a detangling spray, (3-5 pumps) focusing on bottom half of wig or hairpiece.
  • Gently comb through using your Wide Tooth Comb
  • We recommend using your fingertips or wig comb for your desired style
  • Consider additional products to add texture and definition, using a small amount and applying using your fingertips
  • Do NOT use heat to style synthetic fiber (curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers)

TIPS

  • Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e., open oven, heater, etc.)
  • Excessive heat can damage the fiber
  • We recommend using a detangling spray with a wide tooth comb to detangle your piece after each wear

"I’m brand new to wigs! I fell in love with Hudson when I watched Marlene’s review! I have a petite/average head so the cap is large on me. First I watched some videos regarding how to take the cap in by sewing,so I did that first. I still thought it felt bulky so I ended up removing 3 wefts and now it fits much better. I also thinned it out some but I think it still needs more. It hangs in my face so I’m trying to deal with that. This is my first wig so I’m playing around with it but still have not left the house with it on. That will take me awhile but I hear that is normal. Lol."

"So Hudson is the best of everything. . . . Mono cap and lace front. Plus the fibers feel extraordinary! It's a nice, medium density and the cut is perfect for all ages and face shapes. You can't feel any permatese or the bulk of the cap. . . Just luxurious hair! I got mine in color 6/28. . . It's a little ""stripey"" on the top but the rest of it is perfect. Who looks at the top of you head anyway? 🤷‍♀️ It's a great length, just hits me past my shoulder blades. I'm 62 and I think it's a good choice!"

"Fibers were very dry especially at the ends, they looked worn out and as if it had been used for quite awhile. Disappointed in the quality of this wig overall for the price point. Wound up returning it same day it was received."

It Fits!

"I ordered this wig in CHROMERT1B, which is a beautiful silver-grey color. But it has a black root. Therefore, Estetica needs to run the lightest colors along the front hairline in order to disguise the black knots. But they don't, so I exchanged the wig for SilversunRT8. The only other issues I have with this wig is that it's a bit long in the back and the density is on the low side. I wish they would have made Hudson with a mono side part and plenty of permatease on top of the cap for structure and lift. I love the straight style and the cap fits my large head comfortably. Thus, my exchange as opposed to a return."
