Care Instructions

We recommend washing your wig every 8-10 wears.

 CLEANSING & CONDITIONING YOUR WIG

  • Before washing your wig or topper, gently remove any tangles with your wide tooth comb.

  • Hold wig or topper under cool running water, allowing the water to run in the direction of the fibers. You may also fill a basin of luke-warm water for washing. Then, gently lather the hair with a capful of Rene of Paris Shampoo or another shampoo specifically designed for synthetic hair, while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. Do not rub hair as this may cause tangling.

  • Add Rene of Paris Conditioner or another conditioner that is specifically formulated for synthetic hair to the ends of the fibers. Keep the conditioner away from the base of the wig or topper.

  • Rinse wig or topper thoroughly in cool water until the water runs clear.

  • Wrap wig or hair piece in a towel and gently pat dry.

DRYING & STYLING YOUR WIG

  • Allow your wig or topper to air dry naturally by placing it on a plastic or wire wig stand. Do not blow dry your synthetic wig.

  • To style, simply use your fingertips or wig brush/comb for your desired style.

  • Do not use any heat tools, such as curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers, to style your synthetic fiber wig or topper, unless it specifically states that the fibers are heat friendly synthetic or human hair.

  • Consider using Revive by Rene of Paris to remove frizz and refresh curls.

TIPS

  • Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e. open oven, heater, etc.) Excessive heat can damage the synthetic fiber of your wig or topper.

  • We recommend using a detangling spray and a wide tooth comb to detangle your synthetic wig. This is especially important with the mid-length to long length wigs.

The Rene of Paris color chart shows 220 colors used on Rene of Paris wigs and hair toppers, including the Hi-Fashion, Orchid, Alexander Couture and Muse Series collections and Rene of Paris human hair wigs and toppers.

"Frizzy curl wig. I really wondered if I'd gotten a bad wig, but I'd ordered two in anticipation of *loving* this one and was shocked at how wiggy they both looked. I admit I am still not very comfortable with medium or high density wigs, but the strands had just a weird frizzy look. Going to try some other curled styles. I have the Avalon by estetica and it is gorgeous (but a lot of hair which is still something for me to get used to). Even though it did not work out, I thank the customer service for their help with this order!"

Disappointed in the lack of waves

"I love the fit, length and color, melted marshmallow. I spritzed it with water and hope I can get some wave. I have the dalgonas16 and rose ella by bell tress. Cute Style

"I just bought the Evanna in Pastel Blue and loved it so much I wanted it another color. I bought the Ice Blonde thinking that it would be a light ash blonde with light blonde highlights around the face and was disappointed that there was 1 blonde highlight at the face. The style is great, giving a little wave and body at a length that doesn’t rub too much and the Pastel Blue is awesome! I wish they offered a light blonde option, as I was disappointed with the Ice Blonde; it’s almost grey."

Evanna Wig in Melted Marshmallow

"I wanted to love this wig. The relaxed curl and cut are very cute. Melted Marshmallow is my favorite ROP color. I usually wear wigs with no permatease and low density. It will probably be fine for others that are use to a little more hair. The ends feel light but the top of the wig is too thick for me. I've already modified to try to make it my own so I will take it to my hair stylist to see if she can thin out the top."

Love the Curls

"I've been purchasing Evanna for awhile because I love the curls and color Rose Gold is beautiful. This company always gives outstanding service. I've bought through another company and what I got was an Evanna that was frizzy and hardly any curl pattern at all. It looked worn and fibers were not soft. Needless to say, that was the last wig I purchased from that company. I have not had any problems purchasing from WigStudio 1. Very pleased with my purchase!"
