Synthetic Hair Care
We Recommend Washing Your Alternative Hair Every 6-8 Wears
CLEANSE & CONDITION
- Before washing your wig or hairpiece, gently remove any tangles using your Wide Tooth Comb
- Wet hair completely using cool running water, allowing the water to flow in the direction of the fibers
- Do not submerge or soak your wig or topper
- Gently lather the hair with a small amount of shampoo specifically formulated for synthetic hair, making sure the hair is traveling in the same direction
- DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling
- Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until water runs clear
- Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry
- Spray fibers with a conditioning spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base of wig or hairpiece
- Please follow instructions for use depending on products used
- Gently detangle hair using your Wide Tooth Comb
DRY & STYLE
- Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand
- DO NOT blow dry synthetic hair
- For mid-length to long length styles, apply a detangling spray, (3-5 pumps) focusing on bottom half of wig or hairpiece.
- Gently comb through using your Wide Tooth Comb
- We recommend using your fingertips or wig comb for your desired style
- Consider additional products to add texture and definition, using a small amount and applying using your fingertips
- Do NOT use heat to style synthetic fiber (curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers)
TIPS
- Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e., open oven, heater, etc.)
- Excessive heat can damage the fiber
- We recommend using a detangling spray with a wide tooth comb to detangle your piece after each wear

Difference between basic cap Scorpio and PM version
"I normally wear a basic cap Scorpio as my everyday wig. I have gone through around five or so. I went to order another and they were out of my color (coffee latte), but they had it in the pm version so I went with that option. I am so glad I did. Love it so much more that I ordered two more. The cap on the PM version is a bit smaller in my opinion. Fits more like the traditional ROP wigs that typically run a little smaller. I would say PM would be good for petite to average heads. Basic cap would accommodate a larger head. Lace front - I wondered why the need for a lace front for a wig with bangs. This is why. Bangs are not as full as in the basic cap. I was able to thin it a little and get that seperation to create more of a side bang with some whispies ----was not able to accomplish that with the basic cap. Mono top --never understood the benefit of that as I do not care whether a simulation of scalp shows. This is why -- doesn't show the permatease/bird nest you get with basic cap. Also, it helps hold the style better -- hair goes the way it is supposed to go. With the basic cap there is this small section of hair that kept flopping in my face --doesn't do it with the PM cap - it does an awesome sidesweep, which is great. Length - this is a great length especially for people like me who does not really have a neck. It does a great curve framing my face and comes to chin length. Only a couple of inches at the nap. This would be a great transition for those wearing ROP Tori wig to consider. . . . or those who like Alva but would want something shorter."

"This was my first Rene of Paris wig and the first gray tone wig I have purchased. The first morning after trimming the bangs I wore it to the grocery store. As I was walking from my car to the entrance, a lady was exiting the store and stopped right in the middle of the crosswalk just staring at me. As I came closer to her she committed that I had the most beautiful hair she had ever scene. " I said thank you honey, but it's a wig." she said it looks so real. Needless to say I love this wig. The color was Sandy Silver."
