We recommend washing your wig every 6-8 wears.
Before washing your wig or topper, gently remove any tangles with your wide tooth comb.
Hold wig or topper under cool running water. Then, gently lather the hair with a capful of shampoo specifically designed for synthetic hair, while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. Do not rub hair as this may cause tangling
Rinse wig or topper thoroughly in cool water until the water runs clear
Wrap wig or hair piece in a towel and gently pat dry
Gently detangle hair using a conditioning spray specifically formulated for synthetic hair on the ends and a wide tooth comb. Keep the conditioner away from the base of the wig or topper.
Allow your wig or topper to air dry naturally by placing it on a plastic or wire wig stand. Do not blow dry your synthetic wig.
To style, simply use your fingertips or wig brush/comb for your desired style.
Do not use any heat tools, such as curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers, to style your synthetic fiber wig or topper, unless it specifically states that the fibers are heat friendly synthetic or human hair.
Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e. open oven, heater, etc.) Excessive heat can damage the synthetic fiber of your wig or topper.
We recommend using a detangling spray and a wide tooth comb to detangle your synthetic wig. This is especially important with the mid-length to long length wigs.

"wanted to try sweet talk for a very long time but stayed away from gabor since the quality of my soft and subtle years ago was so bad i had to throw it out. the quality from ws1 was good and plan to purchase 3 more sweet talks soon. ws1 support helped me with finding 2 new colors to try also. TY"
"The piece looked nothing like the photo when it arrived. it was very heavy on the top and i was very disappointed. I will not be ordering anything else because you charge to sent pieces back and other places do not."

"Sweet Talk is my favorite thus far on my wig journey. I love the Silvery Moon color and this style is me! I look 10 years younger. I'm 60 and loving it."
"Too much hair, flops into face. Won't stay brushed back out of your face. Has a real wiggly look. Would cost me over 45. 00 to return it. I'm going to see if a professional wig stylish can do something with it."
"After three attempts to find the right color for my skin tone, with the support of the patient and ever-helpful staff, I have found my look! Ava Gabor's Honey Pecan is a beautiful texture of colors and curls. It is not only easy, but fun, to style. Don't be afraid to put your hands in it--it livens up the curl pattern. I have gotten so many kind compliments when wearing it. I absolutely adore this wig. Thank you, support staff at wig studio 1!"
"The wig was very high quality, but the color did not match the online representation. Far too light. I returned the wig and will try again for a color that is more representative of the example shown. Shopping online for wigs is very difficult."
