      We recommend washing your wig every 6-8 wears.

       CLEANSING & CONDITIONING YOUR WIG

      • Before washing your wig or topper, gently remove any tangles with your wide tooth comb.

      • Hold wig or topper under cool running water. Then, gently lather the hair with a capful of shampoo specifically designed for synthetic hair, while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. Do not rub hair as this may cause tangling

      • Rinse wig or topper thoroughly in cool water until the water runs clear

      • Wrap wig or hair piece in a towel and gently pat dry 

      • Gently detangle hair using a conditioning spray specifically formulated for synthetic hair on the ends and a wide tooth comb. Keep the conditioner away from the base of the wig or topper.

      DRYING & STYLING YOUR WIG

      • Allow your wig or topper to air dry naturally by placing it on a plastic or wire wig stand. Do not blow dry your synthetic wig.

      • To style, simply use your fingertips or wig brush/comb for your desired style.

      • Do not use any heat tools, such as curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers, to style your synthetic fiber wig or topper, unless it specifically states that the fibers are heat friendly synthetic or human hair.

      TIPS

      • Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e. open oven, heater, etc.) Excessive heat can damage the synthetic fiber of your wig or topper.

      • We recommend using a detangling spray and a wide tooth comb to detangle your synthetic wig. This is especially important with the mid-length to long length wigs.

However, this was the first Epic in a large cap that I've bought and it arrived with the 2nd thread loose - it was never sewn into the cap but it's so thin you can barely see it, but it will eventually make the lacefront and the monofilament separate and come apart if I would wear it. So be sure to look really closely at this specific detail when you first receive your wig. It was not something that had happened before so I wasn't paying close attention to it."
