CLEANSING & CONDITIONING YOUR WIG

Before washing your wig or topper, gently remove any tangles with your wide tooth comb.

Hold wig or topper under cool running water. Then, gently lather the hair with a capful of shampoo specifically designed for synthetic hair, while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. Do not rub hair as this may cause tangling

Rinse wig or topper thoroughly in cool water until the water runs clear

Wrap wig or hair piece in a towel and gently pat dry

Gently detangle hair using a conditioning spray specifically formulated for synthetic hair on the ends and a wide tooth comb. Keep the conditioner away from the base of the wig or topper.
DRYING & STYLING YOUR WIG

Allow your wig or topper to air dry naturally by placing it on a plastic or wire wig stand. Do not blow dry your synthetic wig.

To style, simply use your fingertips or wig brush/comb for your desired style.

Do not use any heat tools, such as curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers, to style your synthetic fiber wig or topper, unless it specifically states that the fibers are heat friendly synthetic or human hair.
TIPS

Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e. open oven, heater, etc.) Excessive heat can damage the synthetic fiber of your wig or topper.

We recommend using a detangling spray and a wide tooth comb to detangle your synthetic wig. This is especially important with the mid-length to long length wigs.

"I love this sassy style with her barrel shaped curls. She is so feminine and flirty. The lace front is so well done that it looks like the fibers are growing right out of my head. My bio hair was always so thin and fine textured, especially the sides, I could never wear it away from my face. I love pulling her back and showing off the perfect lace front."

- Hello Brenda, Thank you for your question! Sadly, The Sweet Talk wig by Gabor is not heat friendly and I would not recommend using heated tools on it. Best, Ramona Mellison
