Care Instructions

We recommend washing your wig every 6-8 wears.

 CLEANSING & CONDITIONING YOUR WIG

  • Before washing your wig or topper, gently remove any tangles with your wide tooth comb.

  • Hold wig or topper under cool running water. Then, gently lather the hair with a capful of shampoo specifically designed for synthetic hair, while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. Do not rub hair as this may cause tangling

  • Rinse wig or topper thoroughly in cool water until the water runs clear

  • Wrap wig or hair piece in a towel and gently pat dry 

  • Gently detangle hair using a conditioning spray specifically formulated for synthetic hair on the ends and a wide tooth comb. Keep the conditioner away from the base of the wig or topper.

DRYING & STYLING YOUR WIG

  • Allow your wig or topper to air dry naturally by placing it on a plastic or wire wig stand. Do not blow dry your synthetic wig.

  • To style, simply use your fingertips or wig brush/comb for your desired style.

  • Do not use any heat tools, such as curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers, to style your synthetic fiber wig or topper, unless it specifically states that the fibers are heat friendly synthetic or human hair.

TIPS

  • Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e. open oven, heater, etc.) Excessive heat can damage the synthetic fiber of your wig or topper.

  • We recommend using a detangling spray and a wide tooth comb to detangle your synthetic wig. This is especially important with the mid-length to long length wigs.

Falling for You - Gabor - Shaded Sandy Blonde

"Sandy Blonde Shaded GL14/22SS. I love the hairline and the softly shaded rooting that Gabor has on its rooted wigs. The color is just amazing! It's not too warm; it's not so cool that it washes me out. (I'm a natural brunette with a light to medium, neutral leaning toward warm, skin tone. ) Some reviewers online mentioned lots of permatease and lots of hair. I was prepared to thin it, but now I won't. I find the permatease minimal. It does have lots of hair, but it's so incredibly soft and fine, and it doesn't feel scratchy on my skin. I wore it to a show last night, and I never had to worry about the back or sides separating. When I got home, there were no tangles underneath. What a wig! I love it!"

"I love Gabor hairlines! Their fibers seem shinier than most, and lots of fly aways. I do feel like overall the look is very natural once covered completely with dry shampoo. Runway waves is a casual style that reminds me of a shorter JR Sarah… Its not perfect but I love it!"

Nice, but inconsistent

"I have now tried three of these Runway Waves. . . first one had the front super straight and frizzed, so I returned. Second one was huge, compared to the other and to other Gabor wigs I have. Third fit better, but the highlighting was much thicker/bolder around the face. Thinking as might return the third, as well. This is unfortunate, because otherwise the length and the waves are really beautiful. I usually get 8/29 Hazelnut, and generally really like Gabor/RW wigs, particularly how they do a little lighter on the lace front to blend better. I think this could be a real winner, and hopefully I just got unlucky."
