We recommend washing your wig every 8-10 wears.
Before washing your wig or topper, gently remove any tangles with your wide tooth comb.
Hold wig or topper under cool running water, allowing the water to run in the direction of the fibers. You may also fill a basin of luke-warm water for washing. Then, gently lather the hair with a capful of Rene of Paris Shampoo or another shampoo specifically designed for synthetic hair, while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. Do not rub hair as this may cause tangling.
Rinse wig or topper thoroughly in cool water until the water runs clear.
Wrap wig or hair piece in a towel and gently pat dry.
Allow your wig or topper to air dry naturally by placing it on a plastic or wire wig stand. Do not blow dry your synthetic wig.
To style, simply use your fingertips or wig brush/comb for your desired style.
Do not use any heat tools, such as curling irons, flat irons or blow dryers, to style your synthetic fiber wig or topper, unless it specifically states that the fibers are heat friendly synthetic or human hair.
Be cautious when standing near a heat source (i.e. open oven, heater, etc.) Excessive heat can damage the synthetic fiber of your wig or topper.
We recommend using a detangling spray and a wide tooth comb to detangle your synthetic wig. This is especially important with the mid-length to long length wigs.

"Zara is a beautiful style, full, lovely curl, a really nice everyday wig. Also right hand part a big plus. My only problem is the colors this wig comes in. The long dark root just doesn’t work if you are of the mature age. At 66 I can still get away with a medium length style, but that long root ruins it for me, sooo sad. Rene of Paris, please consider us mature women when making colors, and thank you for a right part. Also your fibers are great."
"Zara is really pretty! She has a right side lace part and full lace front. The fibers are very soft! She has pull adjusters and some permatease on top by the part for lift. It’s not too bad, just feels “pillowy” right there. Her wave pattern is subtle and beachy! I’m very happy with her!"
