Envy Color Chart FAQ
Are Envy synthetic and human hair blend wigs available in the same colors?
Yes. Envy uses the same color names for its synthetic wigs and its human hair/heat-friendly synthetic blend wigs, so a shade like Mocha Frost or Vanilla Butter is offered in both. Each style comes in a selection of these colors, so check "Choose a Color" on the product page to see what that style offers.
What are Envy Shadow Shades?
Shadow Shades are Envy's multi-dimensional rooted colors, such as Espresso, Honey Breeze and Platinum Shadow. Each one has a darker root that blends into the lengths, which looks more natural at the part and gives a softer grow-out look.
What do the codes like 12/23 R4 mean?
The numbers before the R are the blended shades, and the R number is the root color. For example, Butterscotch Shadow (12/23 R4) blends shades 12 and 23 with an R4 root. Lower root numbers are darker: R2 is the darkest root and R8 the lightest.
Does Envy have grey wig colors?
Yes. Envy offers Dark Grey (38), a light earthy brown with 20% grey; Medium Grey (56), a salt and pepper blend of 50% walnut brown and 50% grey; and Light Grey (60), a pure silver grey. Sterling Shadow adds a rooted salt and pepper option.
How do I choose the right Envy wig color?
Start with your skin's undertone: warm shades like Cinnamon Raisin, Golden Nutmeg and Vanilla Butter tend to flatter warm undertones, while cooler shades like Almond Breeze, Ginger Cream and Platinum Shadow suit cool undertones.
